Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support a primary care and multispecialty practice. This full-time, 37.5-hour-per-week role works 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with weekend/late shifts as needed.

You will prep and assist in the exam room, triage patients, collect urine and blood samples, and record vitals. A CMA or RMA certification and graduation from an accredited program are required; bilingual skills preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Minimum of one year medical assistant experience or internship in a physician practice.
• National Medical Assistant Certification.
• Current CMA or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification through AAMA, AMT, NHA or NCCT.

Responsibilities

• Prep and assist in the exam room.
