Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program required.
• Minimum of 1 year medical assistant experience or internship in a physician practice.
• National Medical Assistant Certification required.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through AAMA/AMT/NHA/NCCT required.

Responsibilities

• Prep and assist in the exam room.
• Triage Patients.
• Collect urine samples and draw blood.
• Record height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
