Job summary

Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) seeks a Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide high quality care at our Bayview Internal Medicine Practice. The MA administers medications and immunizations, obtains vital signs, maintains inventory, and supports efficient patient flow.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, CMA certification within 3 months of hire, CPR certification, and at least two years of ambulatory care experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required within 3 months of hire.
• CPR certification required upon hire and recertification every two years.
• Two years of MA experience in ambulatory care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and immunizations and obtain vital signs.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure safe, efficient patient flow.
