Job summary

Johns Hopkins Community Physicians in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Medical Assistant (CMA) for our Annapolis/Edgewater Family/Internal Medicine practice. You will assist with patient flow, administer medications and immunizations, and record vital signs in a busy ambulatory setting.

Full-time, 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri 8:00–5:00; requires a High School Diploma or GED, CMA certification within 3 months of hire, CPR certification, and 2+ years of ambulatory care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CMA certification within 3 months of hire.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required; CPR certification upon hire and recertification every two years.
• Two years of ambulatory care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and immunizations, obtains vital signs, and supports patient flow.
• Maintains inventory and ensures safe, efficient operations in a busy ambulatory setting.
