Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) in Arlington, VA seeks a Medical Assistant (CMA) to deliver high-quality patient care in a Primary Care Practice. Responsibilities include administering medications and immunizations, obtaining vitals, maintaining supplies, ensuring smooth patient flow, tracking referrals and lab tests, and supporting safe transitions of care.

This full-time position (40 hours/week) requires a High School Diploma or GED, CMA certification within 3 months of hire, CPR

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CMA certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Two years of ambulatory care experience preferred.
• CPR certification required upon hire and recertification every two years.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and immunizations.
• Obtains vital signs and maintains inventory of supplies.
• Ensures safe patient flow and tracks high-risk referrals and lab tests.
• Supports safe transitions of care and contributes to quality measures.
