Job summary

NATIVE HEALTH is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to support the delivery of patient-centered care in our Mesa clinic. The MA will perform back-office tasks, gather baseline data, assist practitioners, and help maintain laboratory operations as part of the PCMH team-based approach.

The ideal candidate is certified as CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA, has at least two years of MA experience in a clinical setting, and possesses strong infection control and HIPAA compliance knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant training program is required.
• Must be certified as CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA.

Responsibilities

• Screens patients and documents findings in the medical information system.
• Assist practitioners and staff in delivery of patient care and discharge instructions.
• Administer medications and immunizations under supervision and document administration.
