Job summary

NATIVE HEALTH is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support the clinic team in Phoenix, AZ. The CMA will handle patient intake, prepare patients for exams, and assist practitioners in back-office tasks within a Patient Centered Medical Home model.

The role requires CMA certification, a high school diploma, and 2 years of direct patient care experience. Bilingual Spanish preferred. Schedule is 8AM–7PM with 4/10 workdays, full-time benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification required.
• Two years of MA experience in direct patient care preferred; pediatric & adult patients experience appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients and document findings in the medical information system.
• Assist practitioners and staff in patient care and discharge instructions.
• Administer medications and immunizations under supervision; document in EHR.
• Maintain infection control and bloodborne pathogen precautions.
• Handle medical office administration and supply inventory.
