Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for our Mesa, AZ location on a full-time basis. The CMA will perform labs, assist clinicians, and support patient care in a primary care setting.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited CMA program (CAAHEP/ABHES) or military training, holds CMA certification, and demonstrates teamwork, adaptability, and patient-first service.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited postsecondary Medical Assistant program (CAAHEP or ABHES)
• Active CMA certification from an organization accredited by NCCA or ANSI (and completed a medical assistant training program)
• Ability to perform lab duties (blood draws), vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing

Responsibilities

• Perform lab duties such as blood draws and point-of-care testing
• Vaccinate and assist with patient care basics
• Room patients, take vitals, and support clinicians to create positive outcomes

Our client, a Primary Care Service company, is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant for their Mesa, AZ location.

Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Any unique skills needed: Personable, accepts feedback and implements direction from leadership, and promotes teamwork Roles and responsibilities: Perform lab duties such as blood draws, vaccine administration, point of care testing. Room and vital patients, provide patient care basics, able to manage medical task, can collaborate with others, and partners with clinicians to create positive outcomes
• MA - Medical Assistant
• Graduated from an accredited postsecondary Medical Assistant program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools
• OR completed relevant Medical Assistant training by any branch of the armed forces
• OR possess a Medical Assistant certification issued by a certifying organization accredited by either the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute (candidate must also have completed a medical assistant training program) For bullet # 3, we can accept an active or previously active Medical Assistant certification from one of these organizations: AMCA-American Medical Certification Association AMT- American Medical Technologists AAMA - American Association of Medical Assistants NHA- National Healthcareer Association NCCT- National Center for Competency Testing
