Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Technical Diploma in Medical Assisting required
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification required
• CMA or RMA certification from a recognized body required
• Background check as needed for Florida clinics
• Strong Microsoft Office and EMR skills required

Responsibilities

• Performs point-of-care testing (urine dipstick, blood glucose, etc.).
• Conducts clinical intake: vital signs, medical history, and medications.
• Assists with medication administration per the 6 Rights and documents accordingly.
• Maintains supplies and equipment, orders inventory as needed.
• Sets up patients for examination and prepares provider with notes and results.
• Manages communication of lab/imaging results to providers and patients.
