Qualifications

• Must have AA degree or equivalent; Medical Assistant cert.
• Six months related experience or training.
• Ability to read safety rules and write routine reports.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to use computers and relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and prepare patients for physician.
• Record medical history and vital signs; maintain privacy.
• Prepare medications; collect blood samples for testing.
• Explain treatments and instructions to patients.
• Assist physicians and maintain rooms and instruments.
