Stormont Vail Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join the care delivery team. You will work under RNs to provide delegated patient care, admit patients, and support physicians in exams and procedures.

The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and efficient workflow within a patient-centered model. The position requires basic nursing or MA/PCT training, with certification options allowing substitution for formal education where applicable.

Competenze

• Currently enrolled or completed a nursing/MA/PCT program.
• Experience in a clinic/office setting preferred.
• Certifications may substitute for education requirements as outlined.

Mansioni

• Admit patients to exam rooms for visits and procedures, assisting providers.
• Retrieve messages, document medical information, and maintain patient records with confidentiality.
• Coordinate patient services including labs, X-rays, tests, and appointments.
• Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and benefit investigations.
• Perform point of care testing or phlebotomy as indicated by area.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock exam and treatment rooms; ensure supplies.
• Meet patient needs in the department and follow sterile techniques.
