140 Floyd Healthcare Management, Inc. Rockmart Family Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our patient care team in a full-time role. Primary duties include patient rooming, vital signs, point‑of‑care testing, and accurate EMR documentation.

The MA will maintain patient flow, stock exam rooms, assist with procedures, and ensure that lab, X-ray and procedure reports are available for the provider. Certifications are required within 90 days for new grads.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Medical Assisting diploma/certificate from an accredited program, or an approved alternative.
• GA LPN license or military medical services training as acceptable equivalent.
• New graduates must obtain CMA/ RMA/ NCMA/ CCMA certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Patient rooming, collecting vital signs, and point-of-care testing.
• Documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Maintain patient flow and stock exam rooms.
• Assist with procedures and treatments; ensure reports (lab, X-ray, procedures) are available for the provider.
• Assist with patient education as needed and support the clinical team.

Education

US Armed Forces medical services training

1-2 years MA experience + certification
