Job summary

The role involves preparing patients, collecting vital signs, updating medical records, and coordinating with providers to ensure efficient visits. Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent, CMA certification, and preferred two years of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; CMA preferred.
• Current CMA certification required.
• Two years of experience in similar healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review patient records and prepare for visits.
• Complete pre-charting up to five days prior.
• Prepare patients for examination and record vitals.
• Maintain exam rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Coordinate with care team on orders and labs.
• Participate in department meetings and process improvements.
• Dispose waste per protocol.
• Maintain vaccine logs and inventory.
• Assist with check-in and check-out tasks.
• Suggest improvements to Practice Managers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives.
• Other related duties as assigned.
