Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED upon hire.
• Certified Medical Assistant credentials preferred (e.g., CMA, NCCT/AMT/NAHP/NHA).
• Basic life support (CPR) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures.
• Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
• Obtain and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, and current medications.
• May draw blood samples and prepare specimens for lab analysis.
• Administer prescribed medications and vaccines via oral, injection, topical, rectal, ophthalmic, or inhaled routes.
• May perform routine tests including EKGs.
