Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required at hire.
• Certified Medical Assistant credentials listed in requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform general patient care following established standards and procedures.
• Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider.
• Obtain and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, allergies, medications, and presenting problem.
• May draw blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Administer prescribed medications or vaccines by various routes.
• May perform routine tests including EKGs.
