Job summary

Qualifications

• CMA/MA certifications from recognized boards (AAMA/NCCT/AMT/NAHP) are required.
• BLS certification must be current or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Prior patient care and administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and collecting relevant information for the visit.
• Performing telephone communications and coordinating referrals and tests.
• Administrative tasks: check-in/out, scheduling, benefits verification, prior authorizations.
• Assist with office procedures and minor clinical tasks under supervision.
• Provide patient instructions and education; document in EMR.
• Administer medications and assist with prescriptions and refills as needed.
• Maintain equipment and assist with ultrasound-related tasks as directed.
• Support clinicians during procedures and ensure accurate record-keeping.
