Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Room patients and collect chief complaint, history, and medication reconciliation information.
• Handle telephone communications with patients, families, pharmacies, and other facilities.
• Perform administrative tasks: check-in/out, scheduling, prior authorizations, benefit verification, referrals, testing.
• Assist with point-of-care tests and basic procedures under provider direction.
• Provide patient education and written instructions, and document actions in EMR.
• Administer medications per orders and manage prescription refills per protocol.
• Support nursing staff and maintain exam and procedure rooms with supplies.
