Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (AHA/ARC) certification required.
• Prior MA or externship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs rooming/intake with vital signs and data.
• Collects patient history, meds list, allergies; notes preferred pharmacy.
• Assists provider during treatments and procedures.
• Performs phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Administers medications under provider direction.
• Performs tests (EKG/eye exams) under supervision.
• Maintains exam rooms, supplies, and educational materials.
• Assists with registration, scheduling, and referrals.
• Answers clinic calls and assists in-basket as directed.
