Job summary

UNC Health Medical Group in Raleigh seeks a Certified Medical Assistant II to provide routine clinical and administrative support in an outpatient clinic. You will work under clinical supervision and assist providers with exams, procedures, phlebotomy, and patient education.

Qualifications include MA certification, BLS, and at least one year of full-time experience. A $7500 commitment incentive is offered upon hire.

Qualifications

• Certification as Medical Assistant is required by AAMA/AMT/CCMA/NRCMA/NCMA.
• BLS certification from AHA/ARC is required.
• One year of full-time Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rooming and intake, vitals, and data collection.
• Assist provider during exams and procedures.
• Phlebotomy, medication administration, and routine tests.
• Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and patient education.
