Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a Physician Office at Tuckahoe Orthopedic & Physical Therapy in Henrico, VA. The CMA will support the primary care physician by reviewing records, taking vital signs, and preparing treatment rooms for examinations.

Requires MA certification from an approved body, BLS by hire, and 1–2 years of office or clinical experience preferred. Competitive benefits and full-time hours offered.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED.
• Active Medical Assisting certification from one of the listed organizations ( CMA, RMA, CCMA, NHA, NRCMA, NCMA, NCCT ).
• BLS/CPR per-hire requirements for locations as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and community with excellent customer service.
• Prepares and reviews patient charts for upcoming visits, verifies diagnostic results and records.
• Measures vital signs (pulse, respiration, BP, weight, height).
• Performs clerical duties: inventory, referrals tracking, phone duties.
• Troubleshoots and resolves problems promptly.
