Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for its Physician Practice at Tuckahoe Orthopaedic & Physical Therapy in Richmond. The CMA works closely with the primary care physician to deliver quality patient care, review health records, and prepare treatment rooms for examinations.

The role requires a high school diploma and CMA certification with BLS. Prior experience is preferred but not required, and the team emphasizes compassionate patient interactions and efficient clinic

Qualifications

• Measuring vital signs and preparing rooms for examinations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and the community in a respectful manner.
• Prepare and review patient charts for upcoming visits; verify test results and records.
• Measure vital signs: pulse, respiration, BP, weight, height.
• Perform clerical tasks: inventory checks, stock supplies, referrals, phones.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.
