Banner Health seeks a Medical Assistant to join the C/P-BIMC Ortho-Clinic in San Tan Valley, AZ. The role supports clinicians after check-in, prepares patients for exams, and helps coordinate care across the clinic.

The position offers a day shift (M-TH 7:30AM-5PM and Fri 8AM-12PM) with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and $80 scrubs allowance within the first 45 days. Minimum qualifications include a Banner-approved MA training program and active MA certification (RMA, CMA, CCMA, or NCMA).

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required and completion of Banner approved medical assistant training program.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification (RMA, CMA, CCMA, or NCMA) required.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Strong computer and EMR/scheduling software skills.
• Arizona fingerprints clearance may apply for certain behavioral health settings.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for exams by taking vital signs and recording chief complaints.
• Assist providers with exams and minor in-office procedures and phlebotomy.
• Coordinate patient care including pre-certifications, referrals, and scheduling; communicate test results.
• Maintain patient records, labs, X-rays and billing documentation.
• Keep exam rooms and equipment clean; follow sterilization and safety procedures.
• Order supplies and manage medications as directed.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families and staff.
• Complete onboarding and simulation training as needed.
