Job summary

Axia Women’s Health in Collegeville/Paoli, PA, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support OB/GYN care on-site. You will assist physicians and nurses, collect patient data, and help with office-based procedures in a busy clinical setting.

The role requires CMA certification, strong patient communication, and ability to work a collaborative team. On-site hours and a broad benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current national CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA certification.
• CPR certification required if performing office-based surgeries.
• OB/GYN or Women’s Health experience preferred.
• eClinicalWorks EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge patients professionally.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure comfort.
• Prepare patients for examinations and complete intake.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Assist with patient examinations and office-based procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as ordered by providers.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens; perform CLIA waived tests.
• Enter and send medication/test orders via CPOE per provider instructions.
• Explain procedures, medications, and follow-up care to patients.
