Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant I for our AMG Family Medicine location in Millburn, NJ. This full-time role supports physicians with direct and indirect patient care, vital signs, specimen collection, and clinical documentation.

Under physician supervision, you’ll handle intake, rooming patients, and assist with examinations while maintaining accurate medical records and providing compassionate patient support.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• National Certification CCMA from listed bodies required.
• Outpatient/ambulatory setting experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; proficiency with medical records and data entry.

Responsabilidades

• Handle patient intake, update medical records, and administer screening tools.
• Record medical information and test results; take vital signs and collect specimens.
• Assist with routine examinations and prepare examination rooms.
• Collect specimens and assist with laboratory work under physician supervision.
• Schedule appointments and guide patients through the care pathway.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation.

CCMA

Outpatient experience

EMR (EPIC)

BLS

Formação académica

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associate's degree in Medical Care or related field

National Certification CCMA (NHA/AAMA/NAHP/ARMA/AMT/AMCA/NCCT)
