Atlantic Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant II for AMG Medical Subspecialties in Bridgewater, NJ. The role involves direct and indirect patient care under physician supervision, with emphasis on patient advocacy and navigation along the care continuum.

The candidate will document in EMR, support clinic operations, and assist with referrals while ensuring quality standards and patient satisfaction. The position is full-time with day shifts.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of CMA experience.
• National Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• National CMA designation.
• BLS certification and recertification every two years.

Responsabilidades

• Handles patient intake, updates medical records, and administers appropriate screening tools.
• Documents appropriate correspondence, assessments, and care in EMR.
• Assists with walk-in and scheduled clinic visits, verifies and records clinical data and adheres to quality standards.
• Monitors environment for accreditation readiness and practice schedule updates.
• Demonstrates knowledge of CMA scope of practice and holistic patient-centered care.
• Guides patients through the health care system and ensures timely arrival at appointments.
• Provides emotional support related to patient clinical situations as per plan of care.
• Assists with referrals to appropriate specialists.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
