Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the Overlake Clinic in Bellevue. The role focuses on rooming patients, documenting vitals, assisting procedures, and handling clerical tasks to keep clinic flow smooth.

Qualified candidates hold a WA CMA certification or Interim CMA, ABHES/CAAHEP-accredited training, and a current BLS card. Excellent communication and multitasking in a fast-paced healthcare environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have ABHES/CAAHEP-accredited CMA program or military training accepted.
• Must be Certified Medical Assistant in WA or Interim CMA with WA conduct standards.
• Current WA BLS provider card and renewal every two years.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients and families to exam/procedure area.
• Documents vitals and other patient data per clinic policy.
• Assists with procedures as directed.
• Performs clerical tasks, patient transport, room restocking to maintain flow.
• Recognizes symptoms and escalates to RN/provider as needed.
• Performs blood draws as directed.
