Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the Physician Practice float pool in Youngstown. You will work closely with the primary physician to deliver high-quality patient care, update health records, and prepare treatment rooms for examinations.

The role requires a CMA certification within 12 months, HS/GED, and BLS certification. You will greet patients, handle chart reviews, measure vital signs, and perform clerical duties as needed while supporting Mercy Health's

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Active CMA certification within 12 months of start date.
• Current BLS Basic Life Support certification (preferred/required at locations).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
• Review and update health records and charts.
• Measure vital signs (pulse, BP, height, weight).
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist during examinations.
• Handle clerical duties and phone tasks as needed.
