Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant post-secondary education program (preferred).
• Active Medical Assisting certification from CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/ NRCMA or ABR-OE acceptable (where allowed).
• CPR/BLS required; state guidelines apply.
• Proficiency in vital signs, charting, patient prep, and medication administration.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under provider direction.
• Document patient data, vital signs, and health history in EMR accurately.
• Assist with examinations and prepare patients for visits.
• Administer medications as ordered within scope and state guidelines.
• Support virtual health visits, including setup and pre-charting.
• Handle front desk duties as needed and manage referrals and follow-ups.
