Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for the Physician Practice - Youngstown Float Pool. The CMA works closely with the primary care physician to deliver patient care, review health records, measure vitals, and prepare treatment rooms in line with state guidelines.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, chart reviews, verifying test results, measuring vitals, and handling clerical tasks.

Competenze

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Active CMA/MA certification within 12 months of start date is required; options include CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, NRCMA or ABR-OE as allowed.
• BLS Basic Life Support is required at hire for certain locations; preferred at hire, required prior to independent patient care at some sites.
• One year of medical assistant experience is preferred but not required.
• Two years of clerical experience in a physician’s office is preferred but not required.

Mansioni

• Greet patients and the community in a respectful manner.
• Prepare & review patient charts; verify diagnostic test results and hospital reports.
• Measure vital signs (pulse, respiration, BP, weight, height).
• Perform clerical duties: inventory, stock supplies, track referrals, answer phones.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.
