Hours start around 8am and end around 6:30pm with variable shifts; no weekends. The CMA works within the mission of NM, adhering to policies and standards, and collaborates with clinicians to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required.
• Experience in ambulatory clinic setting preferred.
• Ability to perform lab tests and injections.

Responsibilities

• Presents a friendly, approachable demeanor and professional appearance.
• Provides accurate information and timely updates to patients and customers.
• Assists with clinical and clerical functions in ambulatory care.
• Rooms patients and provides direct patient care under physician/RN/LPN supervision.
• Performs point-of-care testing and lab procedures.
• Maintains infection control standards and sterile technique.
