Valley Health System in Montvale, NJ is seeking a certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support clinical and front desk operations under physician supervision. Duties include patient intake, blood draws, EKGs, and medication/insurance coordination.

The role emphasizes accurate EMR documentation, strong patient communication, and teamwork with the practice staff. Certification is required; BCLS preferred and may be required after hire.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and formal Medical Assistant program with state recognition.
• Current CMA/RMA certified by AMT, AAMA, NCCT or equivalent is required.
• BCLS certification preferred and will be required upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform patient intake, blood draw, EKG and other tests as directed by physician.
• Accurately document in EMR and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Greet, register patients, verify insurance and collect payments at time of service.
