Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program required.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with clinical procedures such as taking vital signs, wound care, suture removal, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, urine tests, EKGs, and splints.
• Prepares and cleans exam rooms for patient visits and procedures.
• Performs patient intake duties, including reporting test results and triage.
• Manages daily logs and documentation.
• Supports administrative duties: pre-registering patients, scheduling, referrals, insurance verification, and clinic communications.
• Maintains organized workload and provides courteous service to providers, patients, and visitors.
• Monitors clinic supplies and ensures inventory.
• Educates patients on medications, diets, and health topics.
