Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification by AAMA, AMT, NHA-CCMA, NCMA or ARMA required.
• BLS required.
• 1 year of experience may be provided for an Associate degree in Medical Assisting.

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories and record vital signs.
• Explain procedures and prepare patients for examinations.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures; prepare specimens and administer medications as directed.
