Job summary

Holy Cross Health Center in Rockville, MD is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians in ambulatory care settings. The role includes taking vital signs, interviewing patients, recording data in the electronic health record, and assisting with exams and procedures.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification from recognized bodies.
• 1+ year MA experience in a physician's office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist ambulatory care providers with patient care and exam prep.
• Document vital signs and patient information in electronic health records.
• Collect labs, prep specimens, and coordinate with departments for procedures.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with exams and minor procedures.
• Support front desk, medical records, scheduling and billing as needed.
