Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for Crossridge Internal Medicine to support physicians in delivering high-quality patient care. You will review health records, measure vital signs, and prepare exam rooms in compliance with Medical Assisting scope and state guidelines.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, updating charts, and performing routine clerical duties while maintaining excellent patient interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active CMA certification or ABR-OE acceptable if MA certification cannot be obtained.
• Basic Life Support certification required at hire for some locations; preferred before independent patient care.
• One year of medical assistant experience preferred; clerical experience in a physician's office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
• Prepare and review patient charts, verify tests and records.
• Measure vital signs including pulse, respiration, BP, weight and height.
• Perform clerical duties such as inventory, referrals, and phones.
• Troubleshoot problems and support department operations.
