Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or equivalent.
  • Current Washington CCMA, CMA, or RMA certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with patient assessments and treatments under supervision.
  • Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.

Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (MA) - Primary Physician Clinic

Job Type: FT Days

$4,000.00 sign-on bonus or commitment-incentive bonus

Wage scale: $21.56 - $28.02 per hour

Qualifications and requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or equivalent.

  • Current Washington CCMA, CMA, or RMA certification via AAMA or NHA; must be obtained upon hire
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work effectively in stressful environments and take appropriate actions
  • Work under supervision of a Physician or Nurse, assisting with patient assessments and treatments
  • Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection; monitor and communicate patient condition changes
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting
  • Maintain examination areas and keep patient rooms and common areas clean and stocked
