Job Summary:
The Certified Medical Assistant is a key component of our team that works closely with the primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care to our community, ensuring services are provided within the Medical Assisting scope and state guidelines. The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for reviewing and updating health records, measuring vital signs, and preparing treatment rooms for upcoming examinations. As part of team, Certified Medical Assistants will interact with patients and perform various clinical/nonclinical functions as directed by the provider while following HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
