The Patient Services Representative (PSR) is the main contact for patients and the community, responsible for processing referrals, patient registration, verifying demographics, insurance details, scheduling appointments, transcribing orders, explaining financial options, and updating medical records efficiently.
Education: High School Degree or GED
Experience: Prior healthcare or related experience preferred; knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Cadence, and Connect Care are advantageous but not required.
Skills & Abilities: Strong problem-solving, basic computer skills, 40 WPM typing, excellent communication, interpersonal skills, professionalism, and basic math skills.
