The individual is responsible for assisting physicians, Advanced Practice Nurses, nurses, and Behavioral Health Consultants with delegated responsibilities. This position requires travel between county offices.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist physician/nurse practitioner with various clinic duties, including:
• Managing the referral process
• Entering vital signs and other clinical data in patient records, ensuring that charting is accurate and comprehensive.
• Preparing patient charts/information for medical appointments.
• Tracking and coordinating data pertinent to patients' care (e.g., medication assistance and sample medications, drug utilization evaluations, etc.).
• Completing prior authorizations for medications and referrals as needed.
• Continuing education by attending continuing education and training courses for continued certification.
• Reviewing all outpatient medication storage and administration locations for monthly pharmacy review requirements.

Requirements:

• CMA or RMA certification is required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
