Job summary

Required CMA/CCMA/RMA credentials or completion of an approved program, with certification due within 6 months. AHA BLS is required, and at least 1 year of clinic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinic setting preferred.
• Licensure: CMA, CCMA, RMA or completion of an approved medical assistant program; must obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
• Additional Skills/Requirements: AHA Healthcare Provider BLS required; competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical support under supervision of a licensed practitioner.
• Documents and captures charges for services during patient visits.
• Performs administrative support as directed by a Clinic Leader.
• Assists with patient intake, data collection, and triage as part of patient care plan.
