Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• AHA Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
• Current Medical Assistant Certification through a recognized national professional association such as AAMA, AMT, NAHP, ARMA, or NHA.

Responsibilities

• Assist in clinical and administrative tasks to support efficient clinic operations.
• Perform rooming, clinical intake, data collection, and documentation.
• Provide clinical support during examinations and procedures, including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Prepare laboratory specimens and ensure proper cleaning and sterilization of instruments and rooms.
• Document and capture charges for services rendered during patient visits.
• Assist with scheduling, patient communications, and general clinic coverage.
