Job summary

Qualifications

• Current CMA, CCMA, or RMA credentials or completion of an approved medical assistant program; certification within 6 months of hire.
• AHA Healthcare Provider BLS required; ability to complete validation and competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Records and relays patient information, symptoms, and concerns to the clinician for triage.
• Completes standardized rooming and clinical intake and health data collection.
• Performs tasks according to scope of practice under supervision of a licensed practitioner or nurse.
• Implements patient education plans and health education materials as appropriate.
• Organizes daily work assignments to support patient needs and team efficiency.
