Responsibilities

• Room patients and collect pertinent information (chief complaint, history, meds).
• Conduct telephone communications with patients, families, pharmacies, and facilities.
• Perform administrative duties: check-in/out, scheduling, authorizations, benefits, referrals, testing coordination.
• Complete office procedures per direction.
• Perform clinical procedures such as urine tests, wound care, casting, TB testing, and point-of-care testing.
• Provide patients with written instructions and educate materials per orders.
• Document actions in the EMR and manage prescriptions/refills.
• Assist with procedures and medication administration as directed.
