• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) - NHA
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - AHA
• Certified Medical Assistant (NCCT)
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - AAMA

Aufgaben

• Assist provider and clinical staff with obtaining vital information and preparing patient for examination and minor procedures.
• Take patient history and vitals (weight, BP, pulse, temp) and document in chart per protocol.
• Demonstrate competence in rooming and screening questions at visit.
• May draw blood and prepare specimens for lab analysis.
• Carry out clinical orders including medications and vaccinations as appropriate.
• Manage follow-up appointment tracking for tests and referrals.
• Assist in results management and follow-up as directed by provider.
• Complete documentation in the EMR using standardized workflows.
• Schedule referrals to specialists or outpatient services and handle CPT/ICD-10 coding entries.
