Eligible candidates hold CMA/CCMA/NCCT/RMA credentials and a High School Diploma or GED, with BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant credentials required (CCMA/CMA/NCCT/RMA).
• BLS certification through AHA within 30 days of hire.
• High School Diploma or GED completed.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and collect chief complaint, family, social, surgical and med history.
• Conduct telephone communications with patients, families, pharmacies, and facilities.
• Handle patient check-in/out, scheduling, prior authorizations, benefit verification and referrals.
• Perform clinical procedures such as urine tests, suture removal, cast care and TB readings.
• Provide written patient instructions and education materials per orders.
• Document vital signs and assist with in-office procedures as directed.
