Cynet Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for a 13-week assignment. The position involves day shifts, 8-hour shifts, and under physician and licensed nurse supervision provides a range of basic patient care tasks.

The role requires EKG administration, CPR, venipuncture, and medication administration, with certification in CMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA and a valid driver’s license. Expect routine clinical duties and patient support.

Qualifications

• Must have EKG administration.
• CPR certification required.
• Peripheral venipuncture experience.
• Medication administration (oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular).
• Diagnostic testing proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Perform and assist with basic patient care under physician and licensed nurse supervision.
• Conduct peripheral venipuncture and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Assist with administration of medications as directed.
• Aid with EKGs and other diagnostic tests per policy.
• Attend sick calls with physician and prepare exam rooms and equipment.
• Maintain records, ensure sanitation, and monitor patient status.
