Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant – Certified (MA-C) to support primary care teams in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will room patients, take histories and vitals, and assist with exams, procedures, and documentation to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.

The role requires MA-C (or MA-Interim with cert within 90 days), BLS/CPR, and bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred. Travel between clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved MA program.
• Current MA-C license (or MA-Interim with cert within 90 days).
• BLS/CPR certification required (or within 90 days).
• Ambulatory care experience preferred; fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs.
• Track and document clinical quality measures in EHRA.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures and charting.
• Administer medications and immunizations per protocol.
• Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care.
• Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model.
