Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington State is seeking a Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C) to join our outpatient care team. You will support providers with patient intake, exams, documentation, and procedures to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.

The role requires completion of an approved MA program, MA-C license (or interim with certification within 90 days), BLS/CPR, and bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved MA program.
• Current MA-C license (or MA-Interim with certification within 90 days).
• BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days).
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• May require travel to other clinic locations.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs.
• Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and charting.
• Administer medications and immunizations per protocol.
• Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care.
• Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model.
