The Medical Assistant administers and performs triage and direct care to assigned patients under the supervision of the RN/Nurse Manager. Responsibilities include measuring height/weight and vital signs, updating medical records, assisting clinicians with exams, and ensuring a smooth patient flow. The role also involves routine administrative tasks such as checking patients in/out, filing, copying, and answering phones, supporting front desk operations as directed by the Practice Manager.
Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5:30 pm. During the first 90 days, schedule follows preceptor's hours (e.g., 8 am - 4:30 pm). Shift rotation every 5th week includes: 11 am - 8:30 pm (Mon-Wed), 9 am - 5:30 pm (Thu), Off (Fri), 8 am - 12 pm (Sat). Flexibility is required to meet practice needs.
