Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / Medical Assistant (MA) Job in Nashville, TN

THIS IS A PART-TIME ROLE / THIS IS AN ONGOING PART-TIME ROLE

The Certified Nurse Assistant will provide basic patient care under the direction of the Vohra Physician and SNF Wound Care Nurse. This involves performing duties such as assisting the Physician and Wound Nurse with all aspects of Wound Care, assisting with Wound Care Education, and reading patients for treatment.

Wound Care Knowledge is helpful but not essential.

Vohra Physicians will provide Wound Care training and certification.

Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) in good standing with the State.
• Must relate positively and favorably to facility staff, patients/residents, and families while working cooperatively with others.
• Must meet all local health regulations and pass the post-employment physical exam if required. This includes a criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.
• Must maintain regular attendance, including traveling daily to partner facilities.
• Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).

Duties:

• Assist the Vohra Physician during bedside rounds as needed.
• Troubleshoot with SNF staff for the Vohra Physician.
• Ensure patients are available and ready for rounds to facilitate efficiency.
• Assist the SNF wound care nurse with tasks such as incontinence care, patient positioning, dressing application, and skin exams.
• Take notes during rounds, including wound measurements, locations, and treatment plans.
• Assist with telemedicine visits and video conferencing.
• Help obtain written consent for procedures when required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
